The pair would also later adopt two children. For a period of time, they lived close to the mountains of Colorado.

You might think that this is the beginning of a lasting love story, but that isn’t the case for the pair. The two spent many years together, and Denver even penned Annie’s Song for his wife. However, in 1982, following years of infidelity, Martell sought help from lawyers to finalize their separation.

The pair have always been openly affectionate toward each other, and there is good reason for the electricity this couple gives off.

According to a feature by The Hollywood Reporter, Harris and Emhoff met on a blind date. It was probably love at first sight for the two because just a year later, they were wed. Both describe their first meeting as awkward and nerdy, but the chemistry has always been there. In fact, Ocasio-Cortez’s mom wants them to get married someday and is very supportive of Roberts’ too. Their services are also broadcasted to more than 100 countries, with up to 7 million people tuning in each time. Will and Kate’s lavish April 29, 2011 wedding was the crowning achievement of a decade-long romance that reads like a fairy tale. It goes like this: A small-town girl with self-made parents meets a lovely prince at college, and they live happily ever after. It sounds untrue, but this is real life.

After enrolling in 2001, both Kate and William completed their undergraduate degrees at the Scottish college. The Prince famously watched Kate appear at a charity fashion show, and her stroll down the catwalk was said to pique his curiosity. They exchanged “I dos” at Westminster Abbey in front of millions of people across the world. The Queen presented the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the couple upon their marriage.

Despite his degree of fame, Muir keeps his love life a closely guarded secret. Rumors linked him to ABC colleague Gio Benitez in 2015. They were pictured together multiple times, which sparked speculations. After becoming engaged to his fiancée, Tommy DiDario, on September 17, 2015, Benitez put the rumors to rest. Kate Dries wrote an article for Jezebel in October 2015 titled Report Indicates My Boyfriend David Muir Is a “Monster.” The post depicted her as one of Muir’s many fans, but there is no proof that the two were dating.

LISA BONET & JASON MOMOA

Jason Momoa is most known for his “tough guy” roles in movies and television shows (think Aquaman and Game of Thrones). Behind the 6’4″ wall of hair and muscle hides a caring family guy. He looks to his wife, actress Lisa Bonet, to keep him in check and help him live his best life.

It was indeed young love for Momoa when he first saw his future wife—but not in the way you might assume. Jason tuned in to The Cosby Show to see Bonet play Denise Huxtable, the role that established her degree. Mutual friends introduced the two at a jazz bar in New York City one night. Of course, he was understandably ecstatic. Momoa requested a ride back to the hotel where he was staying at the time, and the two ended up at Hollywood’s Cafe 101 for a meal. Little do they know, that is the beginning of a lifetime.

Hayek is outspoken about how enamored she is with her 12-year-husband, but she is pretty private about details of their relationship. In March 2007, the actress shocked fans by announcing that she was engaged and expecting a baby. She and her fiancé received their daughter Valentina Paloma in September 2007, and on Valentine’s Day 2009, they married secretly in the 6th Arrondissement City Hall in Paris. As the adage goes, “Third time’s a charm, “Steve has tied the knot for the third time in his search for the ideal life companion. In the process, he has most likely discovered the love of his life in Marjorie Elaine Harvey.

The romance between Steve Harvey and Marjorie started with “love at first sight.” When asked about their initial meeting, Harvey claimed he met Marjorie in a comedy club in the 1990s and was blown away by her personality. Harvey told Marjorie at their first meeting that she is going to marry her one day. He had no idea, however, that this could come true in the future. Harvey vanished into his busy world after that, and there seemed to be no way for them to reconnect. Fortunately, they found each other in 2005 and had a two-year relationship. In 2007, they married each other and had worked on their investments since then.

Whether you remember him as private detective Thomas Magnum from the classic 1980s T.V. series Magnum, P.I. or as Monica’s love interest Richard from Friends, Tom Selleck is one of Hollywood’s most honored performers. Despite his prominent degree, he had a series of bad luck regarding his female relationships. Tom was in London working for his movie when the two met. His crew friends accompanied him to the London production of Cats, where his heart was stuck on one of the kittens. Mack then went to Hawaii after finishing her contracts with Cats. They began to appear together in public places soon after, including award shows and Tom’s Hollywood Walk of Fame.

MICHAEL STRAHAN & KAYLA QUICK

Michael Strahan is undoubtedly a multi-talented individual, having played professional football in the past. He is currently experimenting and testing his abilities as an actor, journalist, and television personality in the United States. So, with his almost too flawless combination of virtually everything, this pretty much sums up Michael.

As Strahan continues to rise through the degrees of the entertainment world, his love life had hit a few speed bumps before he started dating Kayla Quick. Michael got married to Wanda Hutchins in 1993, and they have two children. However, the couple’s marriage only lasted a little more than three years before they announced their split in 1996. Following a three-year separation from Wanda, Michael met Jean Muggli, whom he married in 1999. However, things seemed to have gotten a little more tricky, which led to their separation in 2006. In 2007, Michael began dating Nicole Murphy, and the two announced their engagement in August 2009. But, it appeared that there was some turbulence in paradise and the couple called it off in 2014. Although Strahan’s dating life has been full of stumbling blocks, his current relationship with Kayla appears to be going swimmingly.

TMZ reported that Ribisi, who is best known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan and Friends, filed court papers with their lawyers in January, but the couple has been separated since late December 2015.

Deyn has recently shifted her attention from modeling to acting and has taken on a number of demanding positions in the last year. She has yet to comment on the rumored split. The pair married in a low-key ceremony in Los Angeles in June 2012, and have kept their relationship fairly private since then, only appearing together in public on rare occasions. Ribisi and Deyn had a friendship that was admired by many until they called it quits. Even though some find it shocking, Deyn said that she enjoys being a wife and that marrying Ribisi was something she had always wanted to do.

Allison Williams & Ricky Van Veen

On the surface, Allison Williams’ relationship with entrepreneur Ricky Van Veen seemed to be fine. They first met in 2011, when Williams was still filming HBO’s Girls, playing the deceptively polished character Marnie Michaels. Van Veen had been the CEO of Notional, a production company spun off from his famous site CollegeHumor, for two years.

In 2014, he proposed to Williams, and they married the following year. The brilliant businessman and radiant actress seemed to be the perfect model All-American pair for a Ralph Lauren advertisement. However, there was an evidently defective structure under the polished exterior. The pair seemed to be growing apart throughout 2018 as Allison Williams was busy with her Netflix roles and Ricky Van Veen was busy with work for Facebook and his production company. The couple hired lawyers to declare their split in June 2019. It brought an end to an eight-year relationship, just months before the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s picture-perfect pairing was impossible to ignore when they got married during 2014, meeting almost a decade before while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Fans hoped that the charismatic pair would break Hollywood’s relationship curse and become two of the few celebrities to find real, long-lasting love in the spotlight.

At the time, Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston, but there is speculation that he and Jolie had an affair while filming. None of the actors, however, has stated that the affair took place. Jolie and Pitt were once one of the most famous couples in Hollywood. However, they are currently embroiled in a bitter separation as they battle for custody of their children. It’s been years since Jolie and Pitt started their separation proceedings, and many observers believe there is no end in sight. According to one constitutional lawyer, their separation could last as long as their actual relationship.

Benji Madden & Cameron Diaz

As a Hollywood star, Cameron Diaz rose to prominence in the 1990s and has had several high-profile relationships. Fans are probably aware that she has settled down with Good Charlotte’s Lead Vocalist, Benji Madden, and seems to be enjoying a happy married life these days.

Celebrity relationships are notoriously short-lived and usually involve the couples hiring multiple lawyers, but Diaz and Madden don’t seem to be going there anywhere anytime soon. As a result, onlookers are likely to be curious about why Diaz and Madden’s relationship is so successful. In 2014, Diaz held a barbecue for her friends Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, and the two bumped into each other again. Diaz said yes when Joel asked if he should bring his twin brother, Benji, along. The couple then became fast friends after meeting at the barbecue and shortly began dating. They tried to keep their relationship hidden from fans and the media because they are both private individuals. The couple announced their engagement in December of 2014, and they married in Diaz’s Beverly Hills home in January 2015. The ceremony was small, with only about 100 people in attendance.

Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are among Hollywood’s most adored power couples, having been married for nearly ten years and having three children together. Despite their playful way of teasing each other with unflattering Instagram images and amusing tweets, the two are also known for their ability to open up about how much they mean to each other.

They met on the credit film Green Lantern set when Reynolds was still married to Scarlett Johansson, and Lively was still dating Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley. The couple has always spoken about how they first became friends. It wasn’t until they were on a double date with other people that sparks began to fly. The chemistry, according to Reynolds, was undeniable. They married in 2012, and while they do post snippets of their lives on social media, they are generally very private people who try to keep their personal lives out of the public eye.

Gisele Bündchen & Tom Brady

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are each other’s biggest supporters. Gisele is never far behind in the stands while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is on the field. At the same time, Tom is also a huge fan of his supermodel wife.

They can credit a mutual friend who set them up on a blind date in December 2006. From their first date, Gisele told Vanity Fair that she knew Tom was the one. Tom proposed to Gisele in 2009 on a private plane from New Jersey to Boston, according to TMZ. The NFL quarterback decorated the plane with four dozen roses and champagne during the flight. The couple married in a small Catholic ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church in California less than two weeks later. Two months later, the pair married again on the beach of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where they own a home.

Jay-Z & Beyoncé

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have one of the most well-known yet private relationships in the world. Although we’re typically begging for tidbits of details about the couple through song lyrics, a timeline of their courtship has become increasingly visible over time.

When Beyonce and Jay Z first began dating, no one knows for sure. The rumors started in 2002 when they worked together on 03 Bonnie & Clyde. Even though the stars declined to discuss their relationship, it was pretty clear they were dating by 2003. At the 2005 Academy Awards, they made one of their first red carpet appearances. Complete with wide smiles for the cameras to see, and both being seemingly in love. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 2008 wedding takes the cake when it comes to super-secret celebrity weddings. The couple was spotted picking up a marriage license with their lawyers in New York in April 2008, without even telling their fans they were engaged. It was later announced that Beyoncé and Jay-Z married on April 4, 2008.

Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were one of those couples that we didn’t see coming, but we’re enamored with during their time together. The actors married in 2015 after dating from 2011 to 2014. But it wasn’t meant to be, and the couple’s lawyers announced their split only three years after marrying in a joint statement.

Justin and Jennifer met in 2007 through Ben Stiller, who co-wrote the film Tropic Thunder with Justin and is also a long-time friend of Jennifer’s. But it wasn’t until 2011, when they co-starred in the movie Wanderlust, that their relationship blossomed. Justin proposed to her on her 41st birthday in New York in August 2012, and she accepted. Jennifer’s ring was a massive oval diamond with a delicate golden band – an eye-catching piece of jewelry! The pair eventually tied the knot three years after their engagement in August 2015. They decided to hold their wedding ceremony at their Bel Air home, where they pretended it was a birthday party and then surprised everyone with the nuptials.

Kate Bosworth & Michael Polish

It’s official: Blue Crush star Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish, the super-slick film producer, are now husband and wife. In 2011, Bosworth and Polish met on the set of credit film Big Sur. A few months later, they made their major public debut together at a Coldplay gig. During a romantic trip to South Korea in 2012, the director proposed to the fashion icon.

In August 2013, the couple married in a small, country-style ceremony on a private ranch in Philipsburg, Montana. It was attended by just 75 of their closest friends and family at the Rock Creek apartment, located on a mountain top. They apparently invested in a stagecoach drawn by two horses, with the wife-to-be riding it to the venue. The actress wore two separate Oscar de la Renta gowns for the event. Since then, the duo has made a living by swanning around festivals and streets while looking incredible.

Kerry Washington & Nnamdi Asomugha

Kerry Washington is now a married lady, which is a pleasant surprise. Last year, the Scandal actress married NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha in a top-secret ceremony. Details are sparse because the happy couple clearly decided to keep things under wraps (see, celebs can do that when they really set their minds to it).

Ezenwa Nnamdi Asomugha married Kerry Marisa Washington on June 24, 2013, in Hailey, Idaho, according to the newlyweds’ marriage certificate, which E! News obtained exclusively from Idaho’s office of Vital Statistics on Wednesday. They had been dating for a year since the summer of 2012, credits to a source. Washington’s parents also signed the certificate as witnesses, and Chisaraokwu Asomugha, a minister in Silver Spring, Md., officiated. Congratulations to both the Washington and Asomugha families for tying the knot in such a romantic, no-one-knows-but-us way!

Leighton Meester & Adam Brody

This one will be perfect for Gossip Girl! Leighton Meester and Adam Brody married in a super-secret wedding less than three months after their engagement became public, according to several sources exclusively credits to Us Weekly.

In February 2013, Us exclusively announced that the Gossip Girl alum, then-27, and the former O.C. actor, then-34, were dating. The two — who both appeared in Josh Schwartz’s shows — had collaborated two years prior on the 2011 film The Oranges and were “always close and polite,” according to an insider at the time. A source reported to Us nine months later, in November 2013, that the resolutely private couple got engaged. Neither has spoken publicly about their relationship, but they’ve been spotted together a few times in and around Hollywood in the last year. They also collaborated on the new comedy Life Partners.

Margot Robbie & Tom Ackerley

Over the weekend, Margot Robbie officially married her boyfriend and assistant director Tom Ackerley in a private ceremony. The then-26-year-old actress was pictured arriving at Australia’s Gold Coast Airport wearing a shirt that read “Say ‘I Do Down Under,” which can now be seen as a direct reference to the upcoming wedding. The pair reportedly married in an outdoor ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, with just 50 guests in attendance. Robbie wore an off-the-shoulder lace dress with a delicate gold necklace and a bow at her waist. Her hair was braided and pulled back in a relaxed style.

The two met while shooting the film Suite Francaise in 2013 but have kept their relationship private, so it’s no surprise that they’re keeping their wedding a secret as well. Rumors have been circulating all year that the pair were previously engaged, then married. It doesn’t appear that it had to wait long. Best wishes to the happy couple!

Mary-Kate Olsen & Olivier Sarkozy

After they were both seen wearing shiny new wedding bands during lunch in the Hamptons a few years ago, speculation started that the pair, who have been engaged for around two years, had married. Over a year after secretly marrying Olivier Sarkozy, Mary-Kate Olsen, a former child star turned fashion designer, has finally announced her marriage to him. In 2012, the fashion mogul started dating Olivier, the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and they married in November 2015 after a low-key engagement.

Mary-Kate, who, like her twin sister Ashley, is notorious for keeping her personal life private, didn’t comment on the wedding news at the time. Still, in an interview with Net-A-The Porter’s EDIT magazine, the 30-year-old has acknowledged her marital status for the first time. During the interview, the star revealed that spending time with Olivier has helped her handle the stresses and investments of running the Olsen fashion empire with her twin.

Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are among Hollywood’s cutest — and most famous — couples. Although they’ve only been married for five years, the couple has proved that they were meant to be together and that their love grows stronger over time. Although it’s obvious that they were made for each other, it turns out that compatibility isn’t the only factor in their long-lasting marriage. They were very private about their relationship!

During a very personal Over the Fourth of July weekend, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher finally threw a festive wedding party. And, like their engagement news last year, the couple kept their wedding plans under wraps. The former That ’70s Show co-stars gathered with friends and family at the Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California, a secluded location with acres of apple orchards and ponds and botanical gardens. Credits to its website were only recently made available for exclusive weddings and private events.

Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka

Neil Patrick Harris is a well-known actor who has appeared in television shows such as Count Olaf in A Series of Unfortunate Events and How I Met Your Mother. Harris is wedded to actor and chef David Burtka, and the couple has been together for a long time, which is quite an achievement in Hollywood.

Harris and Burtka met through a mutual friend in the early 2000s. Burtka was committed to a relationship at the time, but he and Harris kept running into each other. Harris claims he went out of his way to turn up where he thought Burtka would be. His perseverance clearly paid off, and the pair began dating. He claims they have many aspects in common, but they are still different in certain respects. Burtka proposed in 2007 after a few years of dating, and the pair took their love to a greater degree in 2014. Hollywood romances are notoriously short-lived, but Harris and Burtka seem to have defied the odds.

Olivia Palermo & Johannes Huebl

Similarly, Palermo is a constant cover girl and a regular at fashion shows. Palermo and Huebl met at a film screening in New York City through mutual friends. After years of dating, the couple got engaged in January 2019 and exchanged vows in June of the same year. These two are becoming one of Instagram’s most favorite couples.

Zoe Saldana & Marco Perego

You’ll find a picture of Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego-Saldana in the description of #CoupleGoals. Maybe we’re exaggerating, but we’ve never seen a couple with such a degree of respect for each other outside of the storylines written for a romantic film.

In May of 2013, many saw the two kissing on the red carpet at the premiere of Saldana’s most recent film, Star Trek: Into the Darkness. Even though they had previously been friends for five years, there was talk that they were dating. They were pictured wearing wedding rings in September of 2013, and it turns out that they were wedded in a private ceremony in London in the summer of the same year. Although they hid her first pregnancy from the public, they revealed it in the most elegant way possible by taking her baby bump for a ride on a shuttle at Washington-Dulles Airport.

Aaliyah’s album was also named after her by the Grammy winner, who became a significant influence on her to a degree.

Aaliyah and Kelly’s working relationship had not only blossomed into romance, but the two had also secretly married. Then, in January 1995, reports released a bombshell article that included an alleged copy of Aaliyah and Kelly’s marriage certificate, apparently confirming the rumors were accurate. According to the record, the marriage took place in Illinois, with an application date of August 1994. Although Kelly’s date of birth and age were correct on the marriage certificate, Aaliyah’s age was listed as 18, although she would have been just 15 at the time. Despite rampant rumors, neither party publicly confirmed they’d exchanged vows, though Aaliyah officially moved to have the marriage declared invalid in Detroit in late 1995.

Adele & Simon Konecki

Adele has maintained a prominent degree in the music industry over the years, earning a reputation as the reigning queen of chart-topping sorrow. Even though Adele’s career and popularity have soared to new heights, she has kept her personal life a closely guarded secret.

Simon and Adele started dating in 2010, but the exact origins of their relationship are still unknown to the public. They announced they were awaiting a child in June 2012, and Angelo was born in October of that year. For the next few years, Adele was almost absent from the public eye. During her acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammy Awards, however, she thanked Simon and addressed him as “husband,” indicating that the two had married. Rumors of a potential wedding circulated online for months after fans saw them wearing exquisite rings on their ring fingers many times. While there were no official explanations for their split, some say that they have lost the spark that drew them together in the first place. They’d gone from friends to lovers and back to friends.

Ali Landry & Mario Lopez

Known as A.C. Slater on the iconic 1990s sitcom Saved By The Bell, Mario Lopez warmed the hearts of teenage girls worldwide. Over the years, he’s juggled a degree as an actor and a television host.

He’s shared many of his intimate family moments, including his life as a father and husband. Still, little do we know, Lopez had a long-term relationship with model and actress Ali Landry before his current marriage. Lopez and Landry first met during the Miss Teen USA Pageant in 1998. They were together for six years before marrying in 2004. Since marrying, the pair called it quits just two weeks later, leaving several fans puzzled. Lopez and Landry both concentrated on their careers after the breakup. Landry landed a three-season recurring role on the hit UPN sitcom Eve while Lopez’s career took a turn when he joined Extra as a correspondent. Their marriage went on to become one of the shortest celebrity marriages in history, which we’re sure they didn’t plan.

Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa’s passion for each other has captivated fans since they first announced their relationship in 2011. The couple showed how in love they were with each other, whether on red carpets or in public, and they didn’t seem to mind who saw them. However, after three years of romance, the pair agreed to part ways.

Wiz and Amber had only been dating for a few months before they decided to make their relationship public. Amber had Wiz’s face tattooed on her arm in 2011, and the two made their big red carpet appearance at the VMAs in August, somewhat implying that marriage was on the way. Wiz proposed to his girlfriend in 2012 with an oval-cut diamond, tweeting to his followers, “She Said Yes!!!”. Amber was pregnant with their first child by September, and they tied the knot in 2013. Although Amber and Wiz ended their marriage in 2014, the two have remained close friends ever since. This former couple gained a great degree of love for one another, which will likely never fade.

Audrina Patridge & Corey Bohan

Eleven years have passed since the airing of the wildly successful Laguna Beach spinoff, The Hills’ finale, which stars Audrina Patridge. Since the show ended in 2010, Partridge has had her fair share of unscripted real-life drama. But it was her 10-month marriage to Corey Bohan that was her most public relationship—and perhaps the most turbulent.

Patridge and Bohan were a cute couple long before they married in 2016: they began dating in 2008, and Bohan also appeared on a few episodes of The Hills. Their relationship was a big part of the show Audrina, and viewers watched as the pair struggled to keep it together during the model’s meteoric rise to a higher degree of fame. The on-camera breakup of Patridge and Bohan in Audrina wasn’t the end of their relationship. They welcomed their daughter Kirra in June 2014, and the couple married only months later. Everything moved from good to bad to worse in their family home as tensions rose, and Patridge filed for separation from Bohan in September 2017.

Avril Lavigne & Chad Kroeger

Avril Lavigne rose to prominence in the early 2000s as a pop-rock sensation. She’s primarily responsible for the early-to-mid-2000s pop-punk craze, which has influenced artists such as Taylor Swift. Outside her degree of music, she became well-known for her marriage to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.

For the first time in February 2012, the Canadian rockers met when they co-write new songs. After spending some time together, the artists developed a loving friendship, and they were able to enjoy life as an engaged couple. Chad, then 37 years old, proposed to Avril, then 27 years old, in August of that year. Avril said at the time that she was overjoyed and couldn’t wait to start a family with her man. Even though Kroeger and Lavigne seemed to be the perfect couple, they could not make their relationship work. Their marriage happened suddenly, and their busy lives may have been a contributing factor to their eventual divorce.

Axl Rose & Erin Everly

Erin Everly was the girl in the music video for Guns N’ Roses Sweet Child O’ Mine, as many Guns N’ Roses fans know. He was also Axl’s girlfriend and first wife, though they were only married for a short period.

Their love story dates back to 1986 when 19-year Erin met Axl Rose for the first time at a party in Los Angeles. She migrated to Los Angeles from New York to continue their relationship after seeing each other. Four years after, the pair exchanged vows at Cupid’s Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Surprisingly, Axl allegedly requested a separation just 48 hours after the wedding. Erin had a miscarriage four months after their marriage, which contributed significantly to the failure of their relationship. Ten months after their Las Vegas wedding, their romance ended. Since then, Axl pursued his music investments while Erin lived away from the spotlight together with her family.

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been one of the most closely watched couples in recent years. Fans hailed and praised them as a picture-perfect couple who had found each other amid the baggage of their previous high-profile relationships.

They first met during the filming of Pearl Harbor. The film was a critical failure, but it laid the groundwork for modern Hollywood romances. Jennifer was committed to Scott Foley at the time, while Ben was dating Jennifer Lopez. They then built a bond on the set of Daredevil while still remaining with their respective partners. Garner then separated from Scott in 2003, and Ben called off his engagement to J.Lo in 2004. At game one of the World Series of the same year, Ben and Garner made their first public appearance as a couple. They took their love to a greater degree in 2005 and shared two kids. However, Jennifer and Ben broke our hearts as they declared their separation after ten years of marriage.

Brooke Shields & Andre Agassi

Not all celebrity couples can cope with the pressures of each other’s celebrity degree of success. Brooke Shields’ marriage to tennis legend Andre Agassi was one of those celebrity unions that failed to stand the test of time. They first met in 1993, thanks to a mutual acquaintance, Lyndie Benson. Agassi was taken aback by the dim emanating from the fax machine, mainly because he hadn’t expected any communication to arrive that day.

He took the paper out from the tray and was shocked to see that it was a letter from Africa, and the sender was none other than Shields. Agassi responded, intrigued by his new apparent pen pal. The back-and-forth persisted for the rest of Shields’ film shoot, and by the end of it, she fell for a guy she had never met. Shields and Agassi married in April 1997, almost four years after they first started dating. Two years later, they agreed to split because the actress was unhappy in her marriage. Initially, she desired to work things out, but fate had other plans.

Bruce Willis & Demi Moore

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were once Hollywood’s “it” couple. All eyes were on the two, and viewers couldn’t get enough of the actors together. He was an action star, and she was a movie actress, and the two of them were a match made in heaven. But their romance fizzled out quickly, and after 11 years of marriage, they called it quits in 1998.

Willis and Moore met at a movie screening in Los Angeles, much like many other Hollywood couples. The couple started dating, and after a whirlwind four months, Willis proposed to Moore, which she promptly accepted. The pair marry inside their suite at the Golden Nugget hotel. They soon relocated to their investment home in Idaho to raise their three kids. Moore admits that their hectic schedules took a toll on their relationship. The couple chose to go separate ways, and since then, Moore has stepped away from the spotlight to reflect on his daughters’ upbringing.

Carey Mulligan & Marcus Mumford

Marcus Mumford and Carey Mulligan have been together since 2012, but their love story dates back several years.Carey’s romance with Marcus has all the makings of a perfect rom-com. The British actress and her musician beau, who is best known as the lead singer of Mumford & Sons, met as youngsters and have maintained a long-distance relationship through letters. They clicked right away, and throughout the summer, they stayed in touch and nurtured their friendship through handwritten notes.

They suddenly fell out of touch due to their busy schedules and instead pursued their careers and invested their time dating other people. Then, fame brought them together again, and their deep childhood bond took care of the rest. From there, it was a whirlwind romance; the two married in 2012 and now have two children. As fans, we’re glad that these two long-lost pen pals found love at the end of the road.

Carmen Electra & Dennis Rodman

Electra was the “it” girl who first appeared on the hit television show Baywatch. Dennis Rodman is a well-known athlete who is known for both his on-court and off-court abilities. His marriage to Electra in 1998 is one of the many surprises in The Last Dance’s docuseries. Their marriage was painfully brief, but it was made all the more memorable by the strange circumstances surrounding its end.

On November 14, 1998, Electra and Rodman married in Las Vegas. Rodman applied for a dissolution of their marriage nine days later, claiming that he was not of sound mind on their wedding night. The pair reconciled and tried to sort things out for a short time, but the marriage was short-lived. Although they were often seen in public together in early 1999, they filed for a legal separation with the help of their lawyers in March of that year, finishing a marriage that lasted less than six months.

Chris Pratt & Anna Faris

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight back in 2007, and it was simply love at first sight for the actor. There was an obstacle, however, who was Faris’ husband back then. The two started dating after the actress split her then-husband. The Guardians of the Galaxy star proposed to Faris in 2008 and got married in 2009. They have one son named Jack, who they both dote on. Pratt went on to land a role in Parks and Recreation and then later took on the role of Star-Lord in The Guardians of the Galaxy.

The couple eventually went their separate ways but still are co-parenting their son. Pratt went on to wed Katherine Schwarzenegger while Faris has been spotted dating Michael Barrett. There was no bad blood between the two as Faris congratulated both her Pratt and his fiancée when they announced their engagement. To both their credit, the two are great parents to their son.

Chris Rock & Malaak Compton

The marriage between Chris Rock and Malaak Compton had a rocky ending. The actor admitted that it was his seeing other women that led to their separation. Malaak and Chris first met at the Essence Awards in 1996 and got engaged in the same year. The two later exchanged “I dos” and had two biological daughters and an adopted daughter between them. They were quite the power couple, to be sure!

However, due to Rock’s infidelity, the marriage fell apart. At the moment, Malaak has been busy raising her three daughters using her numerous investments, while Rock remains an on-hand father. It seems that the couple had found common ground, remaining friends even after their split. Rock has been back in the dating scene and even tried flirting with Rihanna, but Malaak seems to be focusing on her philanthropy work and her children.

Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale

The power couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale became the idol of their fans after they got married in 2002. With Gwen fronting the band No Doubt and Gavin Rossdale for Bush, the two seemed like the perfect couple. They had three sons together, and although Gwen learned that Gavin already has a teenage daughter, she still stood by him. Things went along smoothly until Gwen found out that her husband was having an affair with the nanny.

The two announced their split but remained committed to raising their three children through co-parenting. There were other reports of Rossdale’s infidelity, which made it harder for the two to reconcile for the sake of their children. Fortunately, both musicians are earning well. Stefani is currently engaged to fellow The Voice coach Blake Shelton. For sure, Stefani will not have to worry about paying her mortgage fees since she has a decent net worth to her name.

Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were an unlikely couple, but it seems that what made them suitable for one another. Paltrow had been making waves in Hollywood while Martin was taking his band, Coldplay, across the globe. The two met in one of his concerts and started dating after. Their relationship went on to getting married and having two children whom they both dote on. Paltrow admitted that their marriage was not perfect as they do have quarrels, but she said she knew it was over on her 38th birthday.

To their credit, the couple did try to make their marriage work through counseling. It was their marriage counselor who suggested that they do a “conscious uncoupling.” Though this method was met with derision by the public after they revealed it, it seems that it worked for Paltrow and Martin. They are both co-parenting their children and have remained friends even when they are no longer together.

Kaley Cuoco & Ryan Sweeting

Kaley Cuoco was one of the highest-paid actresses on TV after signing up as Penny in the hit TV show Big Bang Theory. Nowadays, she stars as Cassie Bowden in the HBO series Flight Attendant. She started dating tennis pro, Ryan Sweeting, for a few months before they got married in 2013. Perhaps it was intuition, but Cuoco managed to save most of her investment money by getting a pre-nuptial agreement. This was in her favor, especially after the couple went their separate ways after two years into their marriage.

Cuoco opened up her emotions during her separation from her ex-husband in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. She admitted that she didn’t think that she will get married again, but it seems she found love the second time around with Karl Cook, who is an accomplished equestrian. The two had been married since 2018, and it seems that their marriage is going strong.

Kate Winslet & Sam Mendes

Kate Winslet & Sam Mendes were among the powerhouse couples in Hollywood. Winslet had made a name for herself in Titanic while Mendes’ debut, American Beauty, propelled him into the limelight as well. After Winslet separated from her then-husband, Jim Threapleton, the two started dating. It would take them more than a decade to finally tie the knot in secret. The couple had a son between them named Joe, who became the anchor in their marriage.

The two did their best to raise their children normally, but their marriage wasn’t destined to last long. They eventually fell out of love and decided to split amicably. They still work together in co-parenting Joe, but even if Winslet is on her own, she only needed to invest time and love in their child. He is currently married to Edward Abel Smith, who is the grandson of Sir Richard Branson.

Katy Perry & Russell Brand

Music icon Katy Perry recently revealed that her marriage to Russell Brand was like a tornado. The combination was quite unlikely that many were shocked that the two tied the knot in an elaborate wedding in India. After a few months, Perry was on tour for California Dreams. This was also the time where her concert film, Part of Me, began and when her marriage was about to end.

Perry was at the peak of her career at the time, with back-to-back projects that were taking a toll on their marriage. She would take a few days off to fly to her husband, but it seems that he wasn’t very much into joining her on her tours. Perry did what she could to save her marriage, but in the end, the couple split. Fortunately, the singer bounced back from the after-effects of her separation with Brand and had continued earning investments for herself.

Kelly Clarkson & Brandon Blackstock

American Idol star, Kelly Clarkson, met Brandon Blackstock while she was rehearsing with Rascal Flatts. Blackstock was their tour manager at the time. Though they did not immediately start dating, it would happen six years later after seeing each other at the Super Bowl. In just ten months, the couple got engaged, much to the delight of Clarkson’s fans. The couple got married in 2013 in an intimate wedding at the Blackberry Farm.

The couple later had two children between them, plus two more from Blackstock’s previous marriage. Clarkson was happy enough to take on the role of a stepmom and managed to raise a blended family well. Unfortunately, after seven years of marriage, the pair called it quits due to irreconcilable differences. Currently, they are still in the process of separating, but it seems that Clarkson will need help from a financial adviser to weather the cost of splitting with her ex.

Kenny Chesney & Renee Zellweger

The world was left speechless when country singer Kenny Chesney, and veteran actress, Renee Zellwegger tied the knot after dating for only five months. But what was even more surprising was the fact that they quickly called it quits with the Chicago star checking the box for “fraud” as the reason for their split. This has caused rumors about Chesney’s sexual orientation, but the couple clarified that this wasn’t so.

It seems that the lack of time and the fact that Chesney panicked about getting married were the reasons behind their sudden split. Fortunately, the two ended their marriage on good terms, and both have enjoyed success in their own fields. Zellwegger went on to receive numerous awards and nominations, and to his credit, Chesney has sealed his name as one of the country music singers to look forward to.

Drew Barrymore & Jeremy Thomas

The Firestarter star, Drew Barrymore, got married to Jeremy Thomas when she was just 19 years old. The whirlwind romance didn’t last long because they called it quits without a month into their marriage. Theirs was one of the shortest marriages in Hollywood’s history for sure. The couple met in a bar where Thomas was the bartender, and after just a few months of dating, they exchanged I do’s. But then, Barrymore knew the following day she made a mistake.

Barrymore filmed Boys On the Side after her marriage, but Thomas made sure that they would talk to one another daily since they were married. They were supposed to go to Hawaii for their honeymoon, but Barrymore went there alone, where she called her husband to announce that it was over. Barrymore went on to make a name for herself in the industry, where she worked on multiple films, including The Wedding Singer, Charlie’s Angels, and 50 First Dates. Fortunately, she knows how to make use of her investment money and has since put them in various real estate.

Drew Barrymore & Tom Green

Drew Barrymore’s whirlwind romance with Tom Green wasn’t surprising as the lovebirds seemed like they were meant for each other right from the start. The two worked together in Charlie’s Angels, where Green played the role of Chad. They did not really think twice about getting married, but they did, and although many thought that it would last. Sadly, it didn’t. It was Green who filed for separation stating irreconcilable differences to be the reason behind the dissolution of their marriage.

He still heaped praises on his ex-wife afterward, which Barrymore returned whenever she was interviewed. The two recently got to talk with one another on one of Barrymore’s investments which was her talk show, and it seems that there was no bad blood between the two. The actress agreed that it was the right time to reach out to her ex-husband, and it seems that she was right. They got a good conversation flowing, which was one of the reasons why the two looked great at the start.

Drew Barrymore & Will Koppelman

E.T star, Drew Barrymore, is in the process of finalizing her separation from her husband of four years, Will Koppelman. Someone close to the family reported that they were having marital problems, which made them decide to separate. One of the reasons for their arguments was where they were going to live. The call of LA was strong in Barrymore, but Koppelman preferred to stay in New York. Although, their initial plan was to stay in New York for their daughter’s pre-school.

Barrymore admitted that it wasn’t love at first sight for her, but Koppelman won her more pragmatic side. The couple will be co-parenting their children, which helps in raising their kids in a normal manner. It seems that family life has changed Barrymore’s choice of career lately as she is focusing more on raising her children. This doesn’t mean that she has retired because she has put some investment money on her talk show too.

Eva Longoria & Tyler Christopher

There is not enough information on how and where General Hospital star, Tyler Christopher, and The Young and the Restless alum Eva Longoria met. Christopher hinted that it was his work in General Hospital that helped the two cross paths. It was perhaps when Longoria was used as a double for Vanessa Marcil when she wasn’t able to shoot. Still, the two ended up dating and eloping in Las Vegas, where they got hitched. The only witnesses were Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.

The couple admitted that being married was a lot of work and since they were polar opposites, adjusting to each other’s lifestyle wasn’t easy. A year later, their marriage dissolved though neither opened up about what happened. Longoria went on to become a star, while Christopher did not do much acting. Longoria has since moved on, raking in plenty of investments thanks to her acting chops.

Eva Longoria & Tony Parker

Many thought that Eva Longoria had found her perfect match with NBA star Tony Parker. Though they operated in different circles, it seems that they were destined to be together. However, just like with many celebrity matches and marriages, the Longoria-Parker nuptials came to an end after three years. The reason? Infidelity on Parker’s side with another basketball player’s wife. Longoria had no choice but to end things.

Longoria chose to reveal the dissolution of her marriage on Twitter, and she was the only one of the two who did so. But she chose to do so with grace and even reaching out to her partner on what caused the rift. Perhaps her unique approach to the situation endeared her to many of her fans as she chose to know the cause rather than meet it with anger. Fortunately, Longoria’s career did not suffer at all, and she was still able to generate plenty of investments to her name afterward.

Angelina Jolie & Billy Bob Thornton

The marriage between Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton was quite passionate as the two were quite open about their relationship ever since they started dating. The two admitted that there was an instant spark between them while working in Pushing Tin. They later got hitched in Las Vegas, much to the surprise of Thornton’s then-fiancée, Laura Dern. Their relationship was fodder to tabloids not just because of the age gap but also of their unusual quirks.

Thornton was touring with his band when rumors about his infidelity rose, which he denied but left his wife unsure. It is also possible that Thornton’s lack of commitment to having a family caused the rift between the two. Jolie went on to have a more fulfilling career after their split. She eventually got married to the Hollywood hunk, Brad Pitt. To her credit, she has been increasingly busy nowadays due to her upcoming film, Marvel’s Eternals.

Angelina Jolie & Jonny Lee Miller

It’s no secret that actress Angelina Jolie has had quite a colorful romantic life. Some of her relationships have played out in a very public way, but among the partners she has had over the years, there is one whom she considers as the “greatest husband” of all. That, folks, is none other than Jonny Lee Miller. The pair first met while filming the 1995 movie Hackers. They began dating six months after the film wrapped and were wed the following year.

Their whirlwind love affair culminated in an intimate ceremony, with only Jolie’s mother and Miller’s friends present. The couple had a few blissful years before they called in lawyers to finalize their split. Despite how things ended between them, you might be surprised to know that they have remained close friends over the years. In fact, these two always openly talk about their lasting love for each other.

Jennifer Lopez & Chris Judd

Jennifer Lopez and Chris Judd worked together on the singer’s video for Love Don’t Cost a Thing back in 2000. Even from the beginning, sparks flew between them, and they got into a relationship pretty quickly. The two were eventually engaged, and just a year after their first meeting, they decided to wed. At first, it seemed like the two would last a lifetime and were often spotted together in various events.

However, Judd wasn’t a celebrity— and being pushed into the limelight was a jarring experience for him, to say the least. In interviews, Judd talks about doing his best to adjust to Lopez’s lifestyle. In the end, it all became too much for the dancer, and they ended up separating. Things were made official by their attorneys just nine months after their grand wedding. Fortunately, both have since moved on, though they do not keep in touch.

Jennifer Lopez & Ojani Noa

Jennifer Lopez met her first husband, Ojani Noa, at the restaurant owned by singer Gloria Estefan. Noa was working as a singer and as part of the wait-staff at the time. They caught each other’s eye during her visit and became inseparable since. It was clear that the two had intense feelings for each other even from their first meeting, so their marriage didn’t come as a surprise for many. The two were wed in 1997 but eventually split ways not even a year after.

Not much is known about the reason for their short-lived relationship, but they did have very public legal issues. It was also revealed that Noa had signed a confidentiality agreement when he married the singer, prohibiting him from sharing details about their time together. Was it necessary insurance for the sake of her image? We might never know as Lopez never talks about this period in her life.

Ever since her rise to fame with the reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim’s life has been an irresistible bait to the public eye. Following the end of her marriage to former NBA player Kris Humphries, the reality star began taking an interest in her longtime friend Kanye West. After more than a year of dating, Kanye and Kim made things official and tied the knot in May of 2014.

Given their immense popularity as celebrities, Kim, Kanye, and their relationship has been heavily followed by the media. Unfortunately, the two have decided to lawyer up and go their separate ways in 2021. Despite their separation, Kim and Kanye managed to share joint custody over their four children.
